How does working together look in practice?

We can work synchronously or asynchronously.

Depending on what kind of support you are looking for, it might make more sense to work together at the same time (synchronously), in a virtual meeting. That way I can provide assistance in real time and we can creatively problem solve together. In other cases it may make more sense for you to delegate tasks for me to do on my own (asynchronously) in order to free up more of your time. Note that in order to identify asynchronous tasks we will need to have one or more synchronous meetings together to establish what needs to be done.

We start by looking at what systems are currently in place.

Together we assess what is working and what isn’t. During this process we gather data about you and your needs and work together to identify next steps to fulfilling them. Some concepts that are helpful in identifying what needs to change are: barriers to entry, sunk cost fallacy, actionable items, and net gain. They may sound fancy but they are important in taking steps to simplifying your business and life.

We explore tools that might be a good fit.

Everyone has their comfort level with technology, both digital and analog. Together we will explore tools new and old that feel like a good fit for you to help you stay organized, simplified, and streamlined.

Specifics

My rate is $40 per hour. Payment is due at time of scheduling for one on one meetings. I bill by the hour and invoice weekly for asynchronous work. I accept most forms of electronic payment such as Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, and all credit cards.
